Microbit is a physical computing device developed by BBC. You can make programs with the bulding in editor. You can code using a block format or you can use javascript. The microbit has an LED screen with 25 LEDs. It has two buttons which can be used as input. It has 3 pins, 1 3v pin, and one ground pin. It has an ccelerometer which can be used to detect shaking. It has a compass which can be used to find magnets. It has a USB input which can be used as power and/or data transfer. It has an onboard radio which can be used to communicate with other microbits. Classcraft quests were used to introduce microbit material into the classroom. On the last day we played outbreak which is played on the microbit.
